Finished reading: Crossings by Betty Lambert š
Not sure how I feel about this one. Its probably how I was listening, but I never really got a grip of the timeline and where we were and there were some areas that were a rough listen. With that said, it’s a very direct look at a violent relationship and the impacts. The last quarter of the book got me.

I didnāt know what to expect what it wasnāt that. The fake blood budget must have been enormous.

I really enjoy all the Kingsmen movies. The Kingās Man is probably a bit too long and drawn out, but I give it grace for being a prequel and telling the story of how The Kingsmen came to be. Also, more Ralph Fiennes is fine by me.

Itās 100+ degrees outside so officially cold brew season. Decided to see what the King of Coffee, James Hoffmann, had to say about it. Of course his recipe turns what Iāve been doing upside down. Ratios are about the same, but his recipe uses a finer grind, steeping in the fridge, shorter steep time, and a fining agentānever heard of that until now. Iāll stick with what Iāve been doing for now since itās built into the daily routine, but might be worth a try sometime. āļø
