Watched: Pillion 🍿

Didn’t expect this to be in the Christmas movie rotation.

Another republican caught saying the quiet part out loud.

…the mayor, Scott Furgeson, was caught on camera saying of the “No Data Center” signs going up that, “I’ve seen a lot of these all over town, but I only see them in shitty houses,” before adding, “most of them are rentals.”

I started reading: Crossings by Betty Lambert 📚

Trying something different for the weekend. Also was a free download on Libro.fm.

Watched: Jennifer’s Body 🍿

The second movie in last night’s double feature. I like it! I don’t even think I remember this coming out way back in 2009, but it was fun with some great one liners and J. K. Simmons, with hair. That was the real horror.

Watched: It’s What’s Inside 🍿

Watched a couple movies last night. It’s What’s Inside was up first. Definitely a fun premise and I like the effect of using RGB to show who was who, but it was hard to keep track.

One of my favorite Letterboxd reviews said, “If you’re bad at names, this is going to be a nightmare”. Timtamtitus wasn’t wrong.

USA Today published a story on axe throwing. This was published during IATC last week. It’s always a little weird when the little hobby I’m in breaks into the mainstream, but awesome to see friends mentioned and interviewed.

”Big old group of weirdos” is right.

  1. Lie to people who want to be lied to, and you’ll get rich.
  2. Tell the truth to those who want the truth, and you’ll make a living.
  3. Tell the truth to those who want to be lied to, and you’ll go broke.

Needless to say, there’s way too many people—especially those in positions of power—following number 1.
